A great beginning at Toronto Pearson

The day has finally arrived! March 4 began when I woke up from a strange 3 hour semi-restless sleep. My flight to Tokyo leaves Toronto at 8:10AM, so I'm ready to leave home by 4:30AM. Necessary? I arrive at the airport without difficulty (not counting saying my goodbyes to mums and pops) and clear US customs. The checked baggage employee sings "Gooood morning, you can put away your passport, make sure there's no liquids or gels in your carry onnnn. Have an excellent day." to me while he dances. 6:30AM doesn't stop him from being delightfully cheery. I'm at the terminal an optimum 40 minutes early and get to watch the sun rise over Toronto. What a great start to a trip. Here's to the first day of my 6 month volunteer trip to Japan! 26 hours after I left home this morning, I'll be landing in Tokyo. Let's do this!
